Soldier Field Tickets

Soldier Field is the lakefront cathedral of Chicago sports — the oldest stadium in the National Football League by a wide margin, the longtime home of the Chicago Bears, and one of the most recognizable building shapes in American architecture. Sitting at 1410 South Museum Campus Drive on a stretch of green between Lake Michigan and Lake Shore Drive, the venue anchors the south end of the Museum Campus alongside the Field Museum, the Shedd Aquarium and the Adler Planetarium, three of the city's marquee cultural institutions. The bowl seats roughly 61,500 fans for an NFL game and converts to a soccer pitch for international friendlies, MLS, Copa America matches and an upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 host slate, while a flexible end-stage configuration opens the field to general-admission concert floors for tours that can fill 60,000 seats on a Tuesday night in July. The exterior is the part everyone knows — the Doric colonnades that ring the east and west sides of the building, finished in 1924 and preserved through every renovation since. The interior was rebuilt in 2003 into a glass-and-steel modern seating bowl that tucks inside the historic colonnades, a controversial decision that cost the stadium its National Historic Landmark designation but added the club seats, suites and broadcast facilities the modern NFL demands. For Chicagoans the address is a year-round destination: tailgates in the parking lots before a Bears Sunday, Field Museum dinosaurs and Shedd dolphins on a Saturday afternoon, lakefront bike rides any morning the sun is up, and a summer concert calendar that has hosted nearly every stadium-tour headliner of the past two decades.
