About BC Place
BC Place is Vancouver's flagship stadium, a downtown landmark on the north shore of False Creek that has anchored the city's sporting and event calendar since opening in 1983. For World Cup matches, the best all-around sightlines tend to be in the lower bowl between the 18-yard boxes, where you sit roughly even with the action and can read both halves of the pitch. The city is famous for rain, but the wettest months are well behind by tournament time. Late spring showers are possible in June, and July is among the driest months on the calendar.
