Bell Centre Tickets

The Bell Centre is the beating heart of hockey country in Montreal, the downtown arena where the Montreal Canadiens have played every home game since the building opened in March of 1996. Sitting at 1909 Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montreal, a few blocks west of the old Forum and a short walk from Place Bonaventure, the arena holds 21,105 fans on a hockey night — making it the largest NHL building by capacity in the league — and pushes past 22,000 when the floor is opened up for a concert. The Canadiens, the Habs, the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge: this is their barn, and the rafters are heavy with the 24 Stanley Cup banners and retired numbers that no other franchise in the sport can match. The building is owned and operated by Groupe CH, the Molson family's sports and entertainment empire, which also runs the in-house promoter Evenko. Beyond hockey, the Bell Centre is the busiest arena in Canada by ticket sales and one of the most active in North America, hosting the biggest world tours, Just for Laughs galas, world-title boxing, monster truck weekends and Disney on Ice. From the Bonaventure metro tunnel that drops you inside the lobby in winter to the smoked meat carts on the concourse and the Brasserie Molson Ex glassed in above the ice, every detail of this building was designed for a city that takes its hockey, and its night out, seriously. On game night, the corner of de la Gauchetiere and de la Montagne is the loudest few square blocks in Quebec.
