Canadian Tire Centre Tickets

Canadian Tire Centre sits at 1000 Palladium Drive in Kanata, the western suburb of Ottawa that grew up around the high-tech park along Highway 417 roughly 30 kilometres from Parliament Hill. The arena opened in 1996 as The Palladium and has been the home rink of the Ottawa Senators (NHL) since the night it opened, when the Sens finally moved out of the cramped Ottawa Civic Centre at Lansdowne Park. Hockey capacity sits at 18,652 and the building expands to roughly 19,500 for concerts when the end-stage seats behind the rig get folded back in. The naming rights have changed three times — Corel Centre in late 1996, Scotiabank Place in 2006, and Canadian Tire Centre since 2013 — but locals still call it the rink in Kanata. The most-watched single night in the venue's history was actually played outside it: the 2017 NHL100 Classic at Lansdowne in December 2017, which the Sens hosted on the league's centennial as the founding-franchise team in the Ottawa market, a heritage moment that anchored the building's place in the league. Looking forward, the Senators' ownership group is planning a downtown replacement arena at LeBreton Flats, on the edge of the Ottawa River within walking distance of Parliament Hill — a project that's been talked about in this city for the better part of a decade and remains in active development with the National Capital Commission. For now, every Senators home game, every major arena tour stopping in the Ottawa market, every family show, and the Tim Hortons Brier when it comes through town all happen here, on the Palladium ice in Kanata. This page is the working guide to seating, parking, transit options, the in-arena food program, and what's actually on the schedule at Canadian Tire Centre.
