Inside a Central Michigan Chippewas Football home game
Expect a full house of american football energy when the Central Michigan Chippewas Football host at Kelly/Shorts Stadium, the 30,255-seat stadium. Kelly/Shorts Stadium opened in 1972 and is a lively place to watch the game. Games against the New Mexico Lobos are the ones fans circle first — the two sides have met 1 times in the data we track, and those dates draw the biggest crowds. Doors usually open well before the first whistle, so arriving 45 minutes early leaves time for security and concessions. Most american football games run about 2–3 hours.
