The Val-d’Or Foreurs are a QMJHL team in the Abitibi region of Quebec, playing at the Centre Air Creebec.
The Val-d’Or Foreurs joined the QMJHL in 1993 and won the league championship in 1998 and 2001, taking their name (“drillers”) from the region’s gold-mining heritage. The team plays at the Centre Air Creebec, an arena that seats roughly 3,200 for hockey. The Foreurs are a major-junior club of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region.
