About the Phoenix Mercury

The Phoenix Mercury are a founding WNBA franchise and three-time champion, playing home games at the downtown Phoenix arena they share with the Suns.

The Phoenix Mercury are one of the WNBA's original 1997 franchises and a three-time champion, with a history that includes some of the greatest players in league history. The Mercury play in downtown Phoenix at the arena they share with the NBA's Suns (currently branded Mortgage Matchup Center, formerly Footprint Center), where the desert heat and a passionate fan base make for one of the most established home-court atmospheres in the league.
