Progressive Field sits in downtown Cleveland's Gateway District, surrounded by garages and lots and served by the RTA rail system. Game-day parking is widely available but pricier the closer you get to the ballpark, so transit and outlying garages can save money and ease the exit from the downtown core.

1. Take RTA rail to a downtown stop near the Gateway District for a short walk to the ballpark.

2. Pre-book a garage spot through a parking app to lock in a rate and skip circling.

3. Look at garages a few blocks from the ballpark for lower rates than the closest lots.

4. Arrive early for weekend and marquee games, when nearby lots fill before first pitch.

5. Consider parking near an outlying rail station and riding in to dodge downtown prices.
