Parking tips for San Diego Padres

Parking for Padres games at Petco Park sits in San Diego's downtown East Village, where stadium garages and private lots fill quickly on game nights. The Padres Parkade and nearby garages offer the most convenient walk, while lots farther from the park cost less. Many fans skip driving and take the San Diego Trolley, which stops right beside the ballpark.

1. Use the Padres Parkade or downtown garages near the park for the shortest walk.

2. Pre-book parking online for weekend and Dodgers series to lock in a spot and a set rate.

3. Take the San Diego Trolley to the Gaslamp Quarter or 12th & Imperial stops by the park.

4. Park a few blocks north or east of the ballpark for cheaper garage and lot rates.

5. Arrive early for weekend games, since East Village lots near the park fill well before first pitch.
