About the San Diego FC

San Diego FC is MLS's newest club, debuting in 2025 as the league's 30th team. They play at Snapdragon Stadium, bringing top-division soccer to one of the largest markets in the United States for the first time.

San Diego FC entered MLS in 2025 as the league's 30th expansion team, filling one of the largest US markets without top-flight professional soccer. The club plays at Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley — the 35,000-seat venue shared with San Diego State University's Aztecs football program. San Diego FC is backed by the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation and brings a commitment to celebrating the region's deep Latino soccer culture. The club's debut sparked significant excitement across the San Diego-Tijuana border region, one of the most soccer-passionate corridors in North America.
