Parking tips for Wichita State Shockers Basketball
Parking for Wichita State Shockers Basketball games is centered on Charles Koch Arena and the surrounding Wichita blocks. Official on-site or attached lots are the most convenient but sell out and surge in price on big dates, while nearby garages and street options can be cheaper if you arrive early. Pre-booking a spot ahead of time is the most reliable way to avoid game-day stress.
1. Pre-book parking online before game day — prices climb sharply at the gate for Wichita State Shockers Basketball home games, especially rivalry and weekend dates.
2. Arrive at least 45–60 minutes early to clear traffic around Charles Koch Arena and walk in without rushing.
3. Compare official lots against nearby garages a few blocks out; the short walk often saves a meaningful amount.
4. Use a designated rideshare pickup/drop-off zone to skip parking entirely on the busiest Wichita State Shockers Basketball nights.
5. Check for public transit to Charles Koch Arena — on weeknights it's frequently faster and cheaper than driving and parking.
