Appalachian State Mountaineers Parking

Parking for Appalachian State Mountaineers games is centered on Holmes Center and the surrounding Boone blocks. Official on-site or attached lots are the most convenient but sell out and surge in price on big dates, while nearby garages and street options can be cheaper if you arrive early. Pre-booking a spot ahead of time is the most reliable way to avoid game-day stress.

1. Pre-book parking online before game day — prices climb sharply at the gate for Appalachian State Mountaineers home games, especially rivalry and weekend dates.

2. Arrive at least 45–60 minutes early to clear traffic around Holmes Center and walk in without rushing.

3. Compare official lots against nearby garages a few blocks out; the short walk often saves a meaningful amount.

4. Use a designated rideshare pickup/drop-off zone to skip parking entirely on the busiest Appalachian State Mountaineers nights.

5. Check for public transit to Holmes Center — on weeknights it's frequently faster and cheaper than driving and parking.
