Parking tips for Maine Black Bears
Parking for Maine hockey at Alfond Arena uses the University of Maine campus lots in Orono, near the athletics complex. Orono is a small college town, so nearly all fans drive, and the lots closest to Alfond fill first on game nights. For marquee Hockey East dates, arriving early is the key to a convenient spot near the rink.
1. Use the campus lots near the athletics complex by Alfond Arena.
2. Arrive early for ranked Hockey East games, when the closest lots fill first.
3. Check Maine athletics for game-day parking maps and any permit rules.
4. Park in a farther campus lot for an easier exit after a sold-out game.
5. Dress for the cold, since Orono winters mean a brisk walk from outer lots.
