Parking tips for Michigan Wolverines Men's Ice Hockey
Parking for Michigan hockey at Yost Ice Arena sits on the University of Michigan's central campus in Ann Arbor, where game-night spaces are limited and shared with the busy downtown area. University structures and lots near State Street fill quickly, so many fans use nearby municipal garages or park farther out and walk in. Arriving early is essential for weekend and rivalry games.
1. Use the nearby campus structures and downtown Ann Arbor garages for the most convenient walk to Yost.
2. Park in a municipal garage on the edge of downtown for cheaper rates and a short walk.
3. Arrive early for weekend and rivalry games, when campus parking fills well before puck drop.
4. Consider parking farther from central campus and walking in to avoid the tightest blocks.
5. Check University of Michigan game-day parking notices, which can change with other campus events.
