Parking tips for Rensselaer Engineers
Parking for Rensselaer Engineers hockey at the Houston Field House uses RPI campus lots in Troy, New York. The field house sits on the RPI campus above downtown Troy, and nearby lots open for games. As a campus setting rather than a city arena district, parking is generally easier and cheaper, with a short walk to the rink.
1. Use RPI campus lots near the Houston Field House for the shortest walk.
2. Arrive early for the Union rivalry game when nearby lots fill faster.
3. Dress for Capital Region winter weather when walking from outer lots.
4. Check RPI Athletics game-day notes for any lot or access changes.
5. Consider carpooling on busy nights to ease the closest-lot crunch.
