Parking tips for Wisconsin Badgers Men's Ice Hockey
Parking for Wisconsin hockey at the Kohl Center is in downtown Madison, where city ramps and nearby lots serve game nights along with the busy campus and downtown area. The arena's central location means spaces fill quickly for big games, so many fans use municipal ramps a short walk away or park farther out. Arriving early is wise for weekend and rivalry games.
1. Use downtown Madison municipal ramps near the Kohl Center for a short walk to the arena.
2. Arrive early for weekend and rivalry games, when downtown parking fills fast.
3. Park a few blocks out for cheaper rates and an easier exit after the game.
4. Check Kohl Center game-day parking notices, which can change with other downtown events.
5. Dress warm and pre-plan in winter to avoid circling ramps in the cold.
