Parking tips for New York Jets
Parking for New York Jets games centers on the Meadowlands Sports Complex, where MetLife Stadium is ringed by large official lots. Most fans drive, so a pre-paid parking pass is the key to a smooth arrival. NJ Transit also runs a dedicated Meadowlands rail line from Secaucus Junction on game days, giving train riders a direct alternative to the lot traffic.
1. Buy a pre-paid MetLife parking pass online before game day; official lots require a permit and drive-up availability is limited.
2. Take the NJ Transit Meadowlands rail line from Secaucus Junction on game days to skip the parking-lot exit crush.
3. Arrive 60-90 minutes early to clear Route 3 and the Turnpike approaches and to enjoy the tailgate lots.
4. Know your assigned lot color and entrance before you leave; the complex routes traffic by lot to manage flow.
5. Use a designated rideshare zone to avoid the post-game gridlock leaving the Meadowlands.
