Parking tips for Ottawa Senators
Parking for Ottawa Senators games is centered on the lots surrounding the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata, west of downtown Ottawa. The arena sits off Highway 417 with on-site paid lots that fill quickly on busy nights. Because the venue is suburban and transit options are limited compared to a downtown arena, most fans drive, so arriving early or carpooling makes a real difference.
1. Pre-purchase a parking pass when available to lock in a spot and skip game-day lines.
2. Arrive at least 45-60 minutes early on weekends and rival nights to beat the rush.
3. Look at lots farther from the doors for faster exits after the final horn.
4. Carpool to split parking costs and cut down on the post-game traffic crunch.
5. Check OC Transpo game-day bus service from Park-and-Ride locations as a drive-light alternative.
