About the Moncton Wildcats
The Moncton Wildcats are a QMJHL team in New Brunswick, playing at the Avenir Centre in downtown Moncton.
The Moncton Wildcats joined the QMJHL in 1995 and have been one of the league’s strongest Maritime clubs, hosting the Memorial Cup in 2006 and 2025. The team plays at the Avenir Centre, a downtown arena that opened in 2018 and seats roughly 8,800 for hockey. The Wildcats are southeastern New Brunswick’s major-junior team.
