About the FC Dallas

FC Dallas — formerly the Dallas Burn — is one of MLS's ten founding clubs. They play at Toyota Stadium in Frisco and have a strong youth academy widely regarded as one of the best talent pipelines in American soccer.

FC Dallas launched in 1996 as the Dallas Burn and rebranded in 2005. The club plays at Toyota Stadium in Frisco — a 20,500-seat soccer-specific venue opened in 2005 and widely regarded as one of the best soccer-specific stadiums in MLS. FC Dallas is most celebrated for its academy system, which has produced USMNT stars including Weston McKennie and Reggie Cannon. The El Tráfico rivalry with LA Galaxy and LAFC draws national attention, while the Hell Is Real derby against Sporting KC is fiercely contested in the Southwest.

A FC Dallas game, from gate to final whistle

FC Dallas home games bring soccer to Toyota Stadium, the 20,500-seat stadium. The Toyota Stadium sits in Frisco (north Dallas suburb), so plan for a busy approach on matchdays. Games against the Sporting KC are the ones fans circle first — the two sides have met 2 times in the data we track, and those dates draw the biggest crowds. Doors usually open well before the first whistle, so arriving 45 minutes early leaves time for security and concessions. Most soccer games run about 2–3 hours.
