The Victoriaville Tigres joined the QMJHL in 1987 and captured the QMJHL championship in 2002 and again in 2021. The team plays at the Colisée Desjardins (formerly the Colisée de Victoriaville), which seats roughly 3,200 for hockey. The Tigres are the major-junior club for the Centre-du-Québec region.
