About the Columbus Crew

The Columbus Crew are one of MLS's founding clubs and three-time MLS Cup champions. Nicknamed the Black and Gold, they play at Lower.com Field in downtown Columbus — a state-of-the-art soccer-specific stadium that opened in 2021.

The Columbus Crew were one of the ten founding clubs when MLS launched in 1996 and have been one of the league's model franchises ever since, winning MLS Cup titles in 2008, 2020 and 2023. A community-led campaign in 2018-19 saved the club from relocation and became a landmark moment in American soccer history.
