About the Austin FC
Austin FC is MLS's 27th club, launched in 2021 as Austin's first top-division professional team. They play at Q2 Stadium and their Verde supporters are known for one of the league's most electric atmospheres.
Austin FC became MLS's 27th club when it debuted in April 2021, bringing top-division professional soccer to Texas's capital for the first time. The club plays at Q2 Stadium in North Austin. The Verde culture draws heavily from Austin's music-forward identity — La Murga de Austin, the club's official brass band, leads the supporter sections. In just a few seasons Austin FC has established competitive finishes in the Western Conference and drawn consistently strong home support from the fast-growing Austin metro.
